our focus: building the future
Relentlessly innovative.
Sustainability-driven. Co-creating a more resilient future.
How we live, work, teach, play, and care for one another is paramount to protecting our collective future.

Through our collaborations, we aim to build a more open world — with rewarding jobs, resilient supply chains, and innovation ecosystems that drive human engagement and community.
Because getting from Point A to Point B shouldn’t take a toll on the environment or our health.

We are driving rapid commercialization of new vehicle platforms and infrastructure to move people and goods more efficiently and safely.
Consuming and conserving don’t have to be mutually exclusive.

We are pioneering new materials, methods, and tools to manufacture goods more efficiently, while building circular economies to more mindfully allocate and use our scarce natural resources.
Our power shouldn’t deplete the planet.

We’re accelerating new ways to harvest, store, generate, consume, and conserve energy, reducing carbon emissions at gigaton-scale through efficient, scalable infrastructure and systems.
who we are
Change on any scale can’t be accomplished in isolation. We invest in and advise entrepreneurs who are leveraging frontier technologies to solve complex global problems. Through unfettered creativity business acumen, and ambitious solutions, we deliver outsized value and impact for humanity, the planet and our partners.
Founded by a banker, a businessman and an engineer, we bring  a diverse track record of “world first” projects to our work. We’ve disrupted global industries, built market-leading companies, raised and deployed tens of billions in capital, and
co-created innovative products and new business models  with some of the world’s largest companies.
Now, we’re bringing our expertise to organizations with the grit and ingenuity to shift paradigms and challenge the status quo. We nurture bold ideas that are almost too big and almost too risky — which makes them exactly what we need to create a more livable, sustainable future.

Doing the things everyone else said were impossible.
World’s First 3D Printed Vehicles
LOCAL MOTORS
We united technology partners and a global co-creation community of designers and engineers to build the world’s first 3D printed cars and self-driving shuttles. Our process conserved time and reduced waste compared to traditional methods. This large-scale additive manufacturing project was a groundbreaking step towards a more efficient manufacturing process that could be localized for markets where products are in demand. Winner of the SXSW Innovation Award, a Popular Mechanics Breakthrough Award, and a Guinness World Record.
Building Materials Made from Unrecyclable Plastic Waste
ByFusion
Today, only 6% of plastic waste is recycled. ByFusion’s system turns 100% of unrecyclable plastic waste into ByBlock – an advanced, cost-effective building material. No added chemicals. No fillers. No waste. As investors and advisors, we helped ByFusion achieve their first institutional capital raise and continue to support the distribution of ByFusion Blockers to recycling centers and communities globally.
Battery-Swappable Electric Tuk-Tuks
Biliti Electric
We are investors in and advisors to Biliti Electric. Biliti makes battery-swappable tuk-tuks used for last-mile delivery by customers like Amazon, Ikea, and Flipkart (Walmart). As companies move from single delivery hubs in cities to multiple outlets throughout them, electric tuk-tuks are the most efficient mode for first/last-mile fulfillment.
Revolutionary, Next-Generation Material
Standard Graphene
Standard Graphene is Korea’s leading graphene company and one of the few companies in the world with the capability to produce high quality graphene at scale. The company provides graphene and graphene oxide for applications ranging from water filtration to the construction of more efficient solar panels and batteries. As advisors, we’re helping Standard Graphene develop new applications for premium graphene and enter new markets for production and distribution.
